What has happened today? Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested Tuesday on charges of conspiring to get financial benefits through his authority to appoint a U.S. senator to fill the vacancy left by Barack Obama's election as president (NPR News). Congressional Democrats and the White House on Tuesday are expected to finalize a $15 billion emergency loan package to help save millions of jobs connected to the nation's troubled auto industry (NPR News). A tenuous truce between rival factions in Zimbabwe is showing cracks as a cholera outbreak has thousands fleeing to South Africa to seek medical care (NPR News). As far as me, nothing is occurring. I am just waiting on news of all kinds. Most of those I wish not to explain until the full news floats to the surface. I find it better to just let the outcome speak for itself.
