The Idiot's Guide to Economics
good evening, I am listening to Day to Day as they discuss the whole bailout situation/crisis. A lot of it just goes over my head. I think it is because I just do not understand how the whole American market work. I was never good at economics. I do a decent job at making sure that my checking account stays afloat, but when you start mentioning losses in the Dow Jones and foreign investors and such. I really should just sit down and read something like The Idiot's Guide to Economics. Something like that. I mean there is the term recession and worse depression that is slipping from the mouths of many people. Anyhow, there is another vote tonight by the Senate...I think. I guess it is a good thing that I am with Bank of America...or could that be a bad thing? FDIC...now that is a term with which I need to familiarize myself.
