first of the month look back 07: discussing music and properties of light as a wave with others

it is time for another look back at the first of the month...I will try to have these posted on the first of the month instead of some random day as I have been doing lately...anyhow, for this month, I will continue my look into the 90s with October 1999. I was dating Brad, but it was about to end. He had moved back to Ohio. I guess it was best for him. I mean I would escape Tennessee as well. We broke up later in the month. Years later, we started keeping in touch, but one day, he wrote me and told me what he wanted to cut himself off from the rest of human population. I hope that he is fairing well. In other things, I had a decent list of internet friends (and this is way before myspace ever existed). I lived with Kirstin at Fairview Apartments. I think she had convinced me to take Astronomy which I really enjoyed and I still enjoy. Also I was taking a Black & White Photography class where I would develop negatives and work in a dark room. You will notice towards the end of this post how two people will notice this. Actually one of those people, James, became a really great friend. I would hang out with him and his friends and listen to some good ole music of Stevie Wonder. Oh and I had a great job working at the KUC Movie Theatre on campus. I worked as the ticket seller and people who would stop to buy tickets knew me as the photographer. Oh and you have to take note of the songs that are on the list for TRL. Wow has music changed. Freitag 01. Oktober 1999
(10:34 am)I am in the JUB Cafeteria and I just had breakfast...I'm ready for the Astronomy test that I have today...Light is so amazing when you think about it...I waited on Johnny and Adam to pick me up to hang out, but they never showed up...it made me upset because once again, they didn't keep their word...and I'm also mad because I haven't received my Rocko's Modern Life merchandise from Mile High Comics and from the auction...I hope I wasn't robbed of my money. but other than that, I'm in a good mood...I hope John is OK...he's been kinda sick in the last few days...Donna is taking her Master classes...these two are among the list of pen pals that I have. also add David, Dave, Ray, Billy, and Lars to that list...Brad...I do not know what's up with him...he is really different now...he said he wanted to move in with me and then he says he can't because he'll have to get a job...is he making excuses...anyhow, new topic...last night while Kirstin and I were talking, Trevor came over and talked about his hippy room mate.

(11:36 am)I've just finished the test and I think I did really well on it...what really surprised me was when Joey came up to me and asked what "waving" meant...then I ended up helping him on another question dealing with black bodies...and then he helped me with the properties of light as a wave...usually he'll just walk by me and sit somewhere far from me, but today, he sat next to me to get help on some of the study questions. I guess I don't annoy him after all..he's sitting by himself now as time runs out for him to finish...I think I did okay on the test though. I really this Astronomy class...It's so freaky cool.

(2.54 pm)Can You can 98° a band? I don't think you can...anyhow I'm in the Woodmore Cafeteria and the video for these guys are on and I cannot stand this song...anyhow, the strangest things happened a few minutes ago...I was standing in line and this guy started talking to me...he asked about my camera and so we talked about music and he gave me his phone number to hang out and listen to music...so like Johnny was telling me yesterday, everyone is starting to to know me as the photography boy...meeting those two guys was cool though...I'll call them...maybe on Sunday...I have to work tonight...I know that it will be very busy and the same thing goes for tomorrow night...I can't wait for the new Fiona Apple music video...she's so damn cool...and she has a long title for her new album...anyhow today is the beginning of a new month...October baby.
