irst of the month look back 03: looks like a job hunt gone wild (previously untitled)
Saturday 01. Juni 1996
Today was an ok day. I spent most of the day going through amd rearranging my school stuff. It took a very long time. I took time to watch The Brady Bunch with my sister. I only watch a small bit of it. In the morning, well actually afternoon, I went to see about my job at Circle K and Peter told me that the manager won't be there until Monday. I really need to get a job and quickly. I need to pay my bills. I walked to this clothing store. They had nifty stuff. They had all these cool shirts. My mom was on the bus that I got on. She's been really nice to me. I went to the library to look for books to tutor Timothy. I found all of these cool books. There's this one great book about Philosophy. I'm going to read it. I went to the bus place. I caught up with Karen Meriwhether. She signed my yearbook. Then Jimmy and my mom showed up. Jimmy now goes to McGavock. I'm so glad to have great friends. Karen told me to keep in touch with her. Then we all went to catch our buses.
Well I barely even remember this day. I remember trying to get a job at the Circle K (the one that is nearby Belmont University. I remember tutoring this kid (Timothy). I have no idea who this Jimmy character is. As for my mom being nice to me. I am quite shocked. She had no idea that I was gay at this point. No idea. I do remember Karen though. I had actually met her in 7th grade....circa Fall 1990. I think it was in the fall of 1991 when she, a guy name Wil, and I would hang out during lunch. This was when I attended Martin Luther King Magnet. It is kind of disturbing when you read something you have written years ago and have no recollection but oh well. That is how life continues. You seem to forget certain facets of your life.
