homemade pizza charted on the periodic table of elements
michael and i went to hang out with a friend this evening in Madison. we watched Family Guy, played Trivial Pursuit, and at pizza...HOMEMADE PIZZA that is. It was wonderful. Her apartment was all organized and the such. She had created a periodic table of rock 'n roll. she is in love with the periodic table of elements as i am. she had place mats of the periodic table of elements on her dining room table. she has everything in her apartment is organized. That really makes me jealous. I mean i want an organized place. I want to place my books in order based upon the Dewey Decimal System. I may do that. And I can enter everything into some sort of database. I just need to learn how to do something of that nature. Before going to her place, Michael and I went to McKay's. It is such a great place (though I have heard that the one in Knoxville is much better...who knew?). I think I saw Stuart...I think it was him, but I was not sure. I had met him through Jay and Carrie back in the summer of 2002. I need to send him a message on myspace and maybe perhaps that was him. I enjoyed myself as I looked around the store. There are just so many wonderful sections. I also loved it when My Bloody Valentine was played over the intercom. It made me think of my dear friend Mike from Pennsylvania. I bought a few books.
Anne Frank's Tales from the Annex...This is a collection of Ann Frank's lesser known works. So I need to read her diary and then this one.
Jean-Paul Sartre's Existentialism and Human Emotions....I need to find out what exactly is existentialism. I can barely describe it. However, I want to be able to fully describe it for other people.
Henry David Thoreau's Civil Disobedience and Other Essays...When I was roommates with Shame back in 2001, he told me about this great essay and I never got around to reading it and I really wish that back then, I would have read more literary works, but guess what? I know have plenty of time to do so. I should start now.
The 5th Edition of The Longman Writer [Rhetoric, Reader, Handbook]. This gigantic book was only 75 cents and it should help me with my writing. So why not buy it.
So anyhow, I really had a great evening hanging out at Erica's place. I feel as though I have been somewhat rejuvenated.
