late evening
last night was really cool. the moon was surrounded by a huge halo. it was fairly cloudy. only the major stars and planets were seen. today, was a fairly decent day. i ate lunch outside in the windy weather, but i was calm and relaxed. i just worked on my number puzzle...something like sudoku. the name starts with a "k" if you want to think about its name. i did have a major breakthrough. i met Michael at Quiznos after work. my walk from work was calm. it takes a bit longer since the manager at the hotel told me that i could not walk through the parking lot. she said that it was private property and that many cars in the parking lot had been subjected to break-ins. so i have to walk along the street. i had no idea that walking through a parking lot was illegal of some sorts. everyone always seem to bother me. one incident happened when i was working at motel 06. i was leaving work one morning and i had just crossed the street and had just walked a few yards when a policeman stopped me and told me that a guest at motel 06 had just seen a suspicious black male leaving the hotel. Another evening, I was walking along Main Street with Michael and Dan when a policewoman stopped me and asked to see my ID. I just found it odd that she did not ask to see the IDs of my white companions. I am not saying that it was racially motivated, but all of this just seems a little odd to me...but I digress.
