pinkster loves lemons
i really am enjoying this book that i bought online. i heard about it via NPR. the author of the book was featured on one of the programs on the show. i cannot remember the name...anyhow, the book is written by Elizabeth Little and it is called
Biting the Wax Tadpole and it is one amazing book. It has pushed me further into wanting to learn various languages and I think that instead of focusing one one language, I will focus on various groups of languages and go from there. michae and I went to Hastings and I found some other books on lingusitics and the such. i find it fascinating that in some languages, in order to form the plural, you just repeat the noun. it just makes you think about how peple around the world describe their experiences differently. I highly reccommend that you get this book. I am excited that i am finally able to have time to study and increase my knowledge.
