spanning thoughts
hello...and i am reporting from the Smith Computer Lab. I am here with my darling Michael as he looks up information for the multitude of papers he has to complete. I am just sitting calmly. I sent a fax out to this place that is hiring for a web designer/webmaster. So I am highly excited about that. Really excited actually. I hope that I get it. I watched
Wintersleepers while at work. It is a rather complexing film. It is a German film directed by the one who directed
Run Lola Run. I want to get it. The music and the snow landscapes were very lulling. I was set in a sort of trance. You have all of these people who do not know each other end up in situations where they are around one another. Wait...I think I just confused myself. The whole movie was surreal with all of the music that was very enchanting and the snow background. This movie almost reminds me of
The Quiet Earth. Although that movie is somewhat similar to
28 Days Later...where the focus is on a few individuals. It makes me want to curl up with a warm blanket (even though it is spring). So I have placed
The Quiet Earth and
Pink Floyd's The Wall as my next two movies from Netflix. Anyhow, what else? Nothing else to report. I am going to visit Craig's List and also check the Tennessean for the classified section to see if there are any good jobs worth finding. I really need to get away from Motel 06. That job is giving me problems. I just hate working overnight and then sleeping through most of the day and the constantly being tired. It is a bit overwhelming. Anyhow, I will write more later.
