to the west land
Good morning...and how are you. I have so much about which to write. I need to tell you about going to Lexington. It was great. Michael and I drove to Lexington for our respective dentist appointments. On the way there, I told him about the complications of my childhood...namely, how my so-called mom would treat my siblings and I wrong and how it was just so awful. I was going to sleep some on the way, but I did not...I was just not really tired. We stopped at his grandfather's house when we arrived in Lexington. I stood outside of the kitchen and I had a visualization of Michael's grandmom's serving Michael and I tea and it hit me that that could never ever happen again. His grandmom had passed away last May. In the midst of the kitchen and Michael's grandfather asking me about how my life is, tears began forming in my eyes. I also began thinking about how unbearable it was for Michael to be at home. The various times, they had passed each other in the hallway years and years and years ago. Perhaps she would knowck on the bathroom door to make sure he was getting ready for school. Maybe I should write about today another time...to be continued...
