shocked at the thought
So guess what? I was short by $46.72 and It was because...oh yeah...what the hell are you talking about. At work, when I counted the register, it was off by $46.72 and it was because a co-worker made a drop of that amount into the safe (but why? who knows?). Luckily for me, she documented the drop and so it was accounted, but if she had not, she could have easily stole that amount and I would have been to blame, because she left before I could even count the register. I really need to find another job. This job is just so icky and yucky. The other day, I was short by $20 and I get a message from my manager saying, "your register was $20 short. please make sure to give out proper change." Then I find out later that she found out that it was because a co-worker had stolen that amount, but yet she does not tell me about this revelation. I come to work everyday on such high alarm. Anyhow, I am going to relax until the next customer arrives to get on my nerves.
