i stand there waiting for the end to satisfy the story
It is kind of sad that Lisa is no longer working at Motel 06. She was fired for not showing up for work...no calling it either...It was her last day just before her maternal leave. I did not know her well. In fact, I barely spoke to her, so why am I sad that she is leaving? I was thinking about the people with whom you speak and get to know and then one day you realize that you had not seen them in weeks or months...sadly even years. Some people fade out and so you would have never guessed that the last time you spoke with that particular person would be the last. There was no real goodbye. I am typically afraid of loosing people that I know, but I think it will all be OK.
